China and Germany should cooperate in the digital economy
China’s commerce minister seeks to boost economic ties with Germany as the two sides prepare for an exchange of leaders, in line with Beijing’s efforts to boost business ties with European countries.
Both sides agreed on expanding their cooperation in emerging areas, such as the new energy sector and digital economy.
China and Germany have decided to move their relationship forward on the front of trade and economy.
Beijing and European countries are increasing high-level visits to China and signing trade agreements after three years’ of strict COVID control policies. US-China relationships have also deteriorated.
Wang also met with German politicians to discuss the development of cooperation on new energy and electric cars.
Bosch is a German engineering and technology firm that produces computer chips. Bosch announced that it would invest $1 billion dollars in China to purchase components for new energy vehicle.
