Binance gets a crypto license in Sweden

Richard Teng is the Head of Europe and MENA for Binance.

Binance is continuing to show its willingness to work with regulatory agencies in order to uphold international standards. Our team has worked hard for many months to register us in Sweden. This is a testament to our commitment towards the Swedish market as well as our users. We are very grateful to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, for all their assistance during the application process and approval. Sweden is now part of the growing global list of jurisdictions which have granted regulatory approval for Binance.

Roy van Krimpen (Nordics and Benelux Lead), added:

Sweden fully adopts EU laws. It also has additional local requirements. Therefore, Binance Nordics AB has taken steps to ensure it has AML and risk policies that meet this standard. The next major task is to launch and successfully migrate local operations. This includes hiring local talent, organizing more events, and providing more crypto education in Sweden.
